To vote or not to vote....

Ashley McIntosh: Hello fellow classmates. I'm a Pediatric Registered Nurse with seven years experience, currently working at Dell Children's Medical Center. I am attending ACC to obtain the majority of my required prerequisite courses, one being this government course, for my BSN. I am planning on obtaining my degree at UT of Arlington. I have never taken a hybrid class, and feel slightly overwhelmed with the process. I am far from computer savvy! I do not have much free time between work and school, but I do love spending time with my canine friend, Buddy Holly. Honestly, I hate politics and have very little knowledge base on the subject. Surprisingly, I did fairly well on our class quizzes. The civic quiz resulted as a “Tribune,” getting 7 out of 10 correct. Truthfully, I cannot take credit, I took U.S. History last semester which helped a great deal! In current events, I scored 7 out of 11, which was mostly guessing. And if you could not guess by now, my ideology resulted in “Main Street Republican.” I hope to get a better understanding of the political system after taking this class.
